Several South Georgia counties are seeing an increase in meth and other illegal narcotics.

In Lee County, drug agents said they are seeing more and more drugs on their streets.

Recently they've arrested a man who they believe to be one of the biggest dealers in the region.

Now they are asking for the community's help in finding more of his associates.

Lee County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman who may have crucial information about the recent arrest. Due to the undercover operation, the representative of the sheriff's office chose not to reveal his name or show his face.

"Brian Chadwick Jeffcoat has been an ongoing target for the Lee County's Sheriff's Office Narcotic Team for approximately the last 5 years," said a representative from the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

And they finally put Jeffcoat behind bars with a drug trafficking operation within the Lee County and Dougherty County area.

"This operation was an effort to put an end to him selling drugs in our area once and for all," said the LCSO representative.

During their operation, drug agents bought methamphetamine and heroin. They seized close to 31 grams of methamphetamine and an additional quantity of heroin. Due to Jeffcoat's lengthy criminal history, drug agents said they will be seeking federal prosecution in this case.

But the sheriff's office needs your help finding Dana Paulk to get more information.

"We believe that she has information concerning the inner details of his narcotic operation," said the LCSO representative.

She is also wanted for a parole violation by the state of Georgia.

"She frequents the motel areas in Dougherty County. She's been seen in those locations as recent as yesterday," explained the representative.

The last they heard, Paulk may have dyed her hair red, is wearing glasses and may be going by the name Kelly. Drug agents said if the community helps find her, they believe her arrest will be another step in getting illegal drug trafficking out of Southwest Georgia.

If you have any information about where this woman, Dana Paulk, could be, you are encouraged to immediately contact the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (229) 759-6012.
